So, Apple have a spring event today, mostly going to be about the Apple Watch,
rumours of new macs though,
should be streamed at 6PM GMT from the Apple website as usual.

Rumours are the basic model (out of 3) is going to cost $349 and the most expensive will be $10,000. Why anyone needs a $10,000 watch is beyond me but that's just what a tech fan I am friends with on Facebook is saying, with reference to an iVerge article.

£599, for the model that I want, will more then likely get it on launch date!
The new Macbook is interesting also!
Absolutely outrageous pricing for a 'smart watch'. Any typical consumer who buys that is an absolute ***. Daily charging, pretty ugly (albeit an opinion), pretty featureless (nothing you can't already do on other devices for way under half the price).
The sad thing is, millions will buy this. Why? Because of a brand.

The new Macbook is very, very impressive in terms of its thinness and battery design, although useless for anyone that wants to do anything other than word documents and browsing the web. BUT, it would make a fantastic travel laptop.
Is it me or are they missing vital information like approximate battery life? Also, £13,000 for a watch? That's shocking and worryingly some people are that weird to buy one for that muchIt's all up on the Apple website now - http://store.apple.com/uk/watch![]()

The price is shocking to us people for sure. But there is watches out there not made by Apple that range £12,000 or more. But we aren't the sort of people who would go out and buy one of those. It's a special market.
In fairness, I would argue that the average consumer is more stupid for buying a £600 'smart' watch. People who buy £13,000 watches are typically very, very wealth (hey, people often pay well in excess of $500,000 - some even go above $1,000,000).
Nothing wrong with buying a branded item - Of course millions will buy it. They wouldn't do it otherwise. All about the profit!Absolutely outrageous pricing for a 'smart watch'.
