You CANNOT use the computer without it. So the problem must lay somewhere else. PSU maybe?
Have you got the 6 pin PCI-E cable(s) plugged into the graphics card?
Your computer cannot boot if you don't have that 4 pin 12v cable plugged in, it provides essential power to (I think) the CPU so your PSU might be buggered.
:S you didn't have the 4 pin power connector in? You may have broken something, but I don't know what. Do what I said. Test the system barebones outside of the case.
I'll need to phone them up about that then :) I'll phone eBuyer in ten minutes or so.
Soo :P
PSU buggered then? Because atm everytime I plug in the 4pin 12v cable the computer buggers up.

And yeh the 6pin is plugged into the graphics card.
Ok.
And we DID have the 4pin caqble plugged in, but it messes up the PC when its plugged in.
I don't think it's the PSU. It takes a lot to break a Corsair.
Your motherboard could be short circuiting on the case and the extra power would make it worse. That's another possible explanation. You need to build the PC bare-bones outside the case. It may be effort but it always finds a solution for me.
I am fine with the effort :)
And ok. Sadly I go to my Spanish holiday home (not the one i live in :\) on sunday xD My sisters boyfriend will be around though :P I think it might be the motherboard, as we have tested everything else, and I refuse to believe I need to get a smaller graphics card :D I love my one xD
Just take it out, clear a desk and set it up outside the case on there, hopefully you can get it running by Sunday! Hopefully you won't have any problems with any of the hardware, my Gigabyte P35C-DS3R mobo died after a month of use on my rig :(
