You CANNOT use the computer without it. So the problem must lay somewhere else. PSU maybe?

I'll need to phone them up about that thenI'll phone eBuyer in ten minutes or so.
Soo
PSU buggered then? Because atm everytime I plug in the 4pin 12v cable the computer buggers up.
---
And yeh the 6pin is plugged into the graphics card.
Ok.
And we DID have the 4pin caqble plugged in, but it messes up the PC when its plugged in.
I don't think it's the PSU. It takes a lot to break a Corsair.I'll need to phone them up about that thenI'll phone eBuyer in ten minutes or so.

Your motherboard could be short circuiting on the case and the extra power would make it worse. That's another possible explanation. You need to build the PC bare-bones outside the case. It may be effort but it always finds a solution for me.

And ok. Sadly I go to my Spanish holiday home (not the one i live in :\) on sundayMy sisters boyfriend will be around though
I think it might be the motherboard, as we have tested everything else, and I refuse to believe I need to get a smaller graphics card
I love my one

Just take it out, clear a desk and set it up outside the case on there, hopefully you can get it running by Sunday! Hopefully you won't have any problems with any of the hardware, my Gigabyte P35C-DS3R mobo died after a month of use on my rig![]()
Im tempted to get my mobo sent back and say it is faulty. About to go see my neighbour see if he has any ideas about gettingt it to work, but the either my mobo or my psu is messing up atm >:{
Or it is shorting. Just try it out of the case dammit and you'll know what is broken.
