Tragic story.
Certainly.
Terrible, but she should have just abandoned the car. Sure, you think you have a minute to get out of there with your car, but it was slippery... the track seems straight so she would have seen the train, why didn't she just get out and run...?
If I was in a car on a train track I'd try and get the car off, but if I saw the train coming towards me I'd leg it.
Ah well, R.I.P.
Indeed she could have, but if it was slippery and the train was approaching fast then it's going to be obvious she wont get it to budge and should just get out of there. I reckon the latter is probably right, I saw a video on TV where the woman wouldn't leave her car (she was on a train track with the car)... she finally left it and it was smashed to bits.
Hmm that's the other thing, where I used to live in the UK if you were stuck between the barriers you couldn't get out (unless you jumped). So if the barriers are the same there then she wouldn't of got out with her car anyway... and yeah, her car didn't sound great, some old rover... :P
She might of been trying to move it just a bit out the way of the train but on the tracks still, like on the track next to the approaching train. It's a shame we may never know...
Says a lorry driver tried to help her somehow?
