On kerrang the other day there was a top 100 most influencial musicians in rock history.
And number 1, was AC/DC.
Now I like AC/DC in all, but I defiantly don't agree with that..
Personally I think bands like The Clash, The sex pistols or Queen are.

The Clash and Sex Pistols definitely, as my Dad always says: 'If bands like the Clash or Sex Pistols didn't exist, the bands you like now wouldn't be half as popular or wouldn't even be around'.
i think the beatles are.
It depends on what 'influential' means. There's influential as in musically, and influential as in make you want to write music. Like Queen inspired a long list of bands to become musicians, but there arent many decent bands that took the sound of Queen. They only one I can think of is Muse, and thats only slightly.
Id say that R.E.M. is the most influential band ever.
Ew @ AC/DC
Guns n' Roses soz
I would say - Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and Guns N' Roses. The first of their kind. ;)
Queen and Pink floyd for me :D
Seeing Paramore last week relly inspired me, & i don't understand how. Heyley Williams is amazing, and all i can think about now is how amazing it would be to front a band like her in the future. Now im really trying to get my mum to let me have guitar lessons, she has influenced me the way no one has before.
the beatles influenced most modern indie/britpop ie oasis, the libertines, blur
I would probably have to go with creed
lol jk
weezer or green day?
Haha i am not really into the like old rock like acdc and rolling stones
Eminem for me. The way he puts his songs together is so clever.
Daniel Davey (Dani Filth - Cradle Of Filth)
George Fisher (Cannibal Corpse - Death Growl)
Stian Thoresen (Dimmu Borgir - Melodic Black Metal)
I would say Queen and The sex pistols are more influencial than ACDC
