What did he do? I didn't know he was the graphics manager :S His work mustn't of been too exciting...
Are they his? No one said they were. Aren't most of the graphics on the site free with Joomla! except the obvious ones with Habbos and Habbox splashed on them and if there was a team helping, surely some of them aren't actually his (unless the team you had did nothing).
why did you get fired may i ask?
Obvious I do make some of the tasks myself and. tbh graphics dep is one of the hardest deps to lead. And I dont think you can talk to me like this as I did notting for this?

I was just stating, what did you do? Graphics Department is pretty much hidden from view. No one knows what happens in that department and nothing is announced other the usual who has been hired and fired.

I feel bad myself about not being it anymore as I was planning to get the team back to high quality. But it is hard to find active graphics staff and since they removed the whole team last year. I had to start from Zero..
So I do think I did/do a good job. And really dissagree about my removal..

I dont realy think Habbox give the graphics staff enough credit realy when somethings uploaded they should atleast say oh this banner is made by ect..
Another one of Habbox's stupid decisions by the looks of it. Were you in charge of the Graphics Team when they removed the whole team or were you hired afterwards? Management are very unfair on Department Managers by the looks of it.
Indeed, I always assume that they were made by someone higher up who didn't bother making the announcements. They could say "The Christmas Layout has been uploaded! A very big thanks to .-.eXtra.-. and his team for the amazing graphics."
When I was productions manager I requested quite a few graphics for the department, and I have to admit the turnover wasn't good. In fact, I requested some - 2 weeks later I resigned. Then 2 weeks after I resigned, you sent me them!
Now incompetent staff isn't exactly your fault but you have to take a certain amount of responsibility for it. If your staff are lazy, and aren't doing the work you ask them to, there is discipline. Get new staff, have meetings, motivate them. Thats all part of a mangers job, and judging by the length it takes to get graphics, I'm guessing they aren't all that good.
I don't mean to sound offensive, but I would be lying if I said it was unexpected. Your a very nice bloke though and I'm sure your hearts in the right place. :)!
Maybe its becuse i dont use the habbox main site at all, but ive never heard of you? (and looking now other than a few tiny habbo graphics, its all defults from the joomla theme?)
Then you should of fired them or had a word yourself, rather than the management remove them without you having a word "/ You're the manager of the department and it is your job. You could of had so much more power in your hands and yet again, Habbox have trust issues along side their terrible management skills.
I think you're better off not working for the organised chaos which Habbox seems to be.

Well that removal wasnt in my control. It was done by generals.
And the most graphics we make are for the forums, shows, events.
I dont see that as a reason, I mean I had never had a manager job before this, So I had to figure out everything and how.
But they could atleast discuss this with me and maybe give me some time to say goodbye? :s I just got on the net and I had like notting :s not even normal graphics designer :s
@ Sammeth I was manager for like only 1-3 weeks when they did that so I had to figure things out how to do them first.
You dont need a guide to manage, Your brain manage's as long as you arnt craving for power and relise how to disiplin or choose the right staff your on your way.
Sorry to hear about your dismissal Ken, shame that you didn't get a warning or anything because a warning/reminder would of helped you get things back on track. However, what's done is done and I wish you all the best for the future. There will never be a shortage of Habbo fansite who desire talented graphic artists like yourself. :)
Im not saying your the worst manager. Im saying that if you were a new manager, and you were struggling the guides are there to help and tell you exactly how to run the department.
Plus, you've been graphics manager since July. You said they removed your staff 1-3 weeks into your manager role...that would be around August time. I requested the graphics in November/Early December and you used the excuse that they removed the staff for not doing them?
When exactly did they remove all your staff, and did it happen more than once? Im getting way confused.
Ermm Im not really sure myself...
But I had a hard way about the graphics apply's because like onlya few people with good qualitys applied so I had like not many people as staff.
And well I had this warning saying that I had a last chance to prove and I had that warning like 2 days ago and now today im removed? Its like I had no chance?
I understand when you say that it's hard being a manager first time but if you had guides to help you, it can't have been that hard to work everything out.
Good luck and yeah, graphics designers are hard to find because like articles and news reporters, no-one likes to do proper work when they're not at school or work. They'd have to work really hard to get a good graphic or write a good piece of news... so yeah, it's hard but people can manage!

extra couldn't you have said to the pm right yes give me a week and i will get everything back on track. you could fire some people and open applications in two days couldnt you?
