Ok normally I don't get excited about superhero movies that much, but on Rotten Tomatoes, they've given this a 96% which is absolutely insane for a mainstream movie. I'm so pumped to see this movie now.. your thoughts?

Not really, doesnt seem that good to me.
I only liked the trailor music.
Black Sabbath.
haha.
Looks quite cool but isn't exactly the type of movie I go off to watch in the cinema with my friends with so i'll just wait for it to come online or buy the dvd in a few months time :P
I went to see this today, I was impressed. I liked the story, how it kinda has more than 1 to it. They must of spent millions on the effects.
Saw it today, literally just come back from seeing it, and I won't say much about it but I will say that it redefines the word 'awesome' as far as films based on comics go. ;)
Can't wait for the sequel...
i thought it looked crap, but i guess ur opinions speak for themselves
i'll go see it after all you lot raving!!
just seen it, its amazing i hope there a 2
IRON MAN, TWO WORDS DAVE. :@
Saw it last night. Amazing. What a superhero movie should be. There is a lot of things in the movie that only fans of the comic books will get, theres also a scene at the end of the credits, which you'll also only really get it you've played the Marvel games or read the comics. I'd probably say it's my second favourite superhero movie of all time. Spider-man would be first. It's definitely worth watching. My favourite film of 2008.
The Avengers get their own movie after each seperate character has a movie.
Spoiler beow.
It will be kind of weird if they make more since Tony Stark just came out and said 'I Am Iron Man' while every other superhero has tried to keep their identity secret.
im not a superhero movie person, really. but it's gotten MAD good reviews, it's ridiculous. so i might see it, or wait till the dvd.
The good thing about it is, all other Super Hero movies are all serious, but this ones kind of a comedy. Such as at the beginning "Good god your a woman".
It's epical.
Favourite quote?
Mr Stark, what do you think of your nickname, the Davinci of our time?
Hate it, I don't paint.
What about the Merchant of Death?
That's not bad.
XD
Well im a big film fan and write reviews for my local paper and i tell you what i really didnt think ironman was going to be good but wow it was friggin awesome story was amazing action was perfect it was an all round 8.8/10
i love the little on-the-shoulder-sniper thing he has, that was awesome
and i loved how he didnt get the girl for a change.
and also, what are the avengers? ive heard tons of stuff about them, but i dont actually know what they are
i cant wait to see war machine, i used to love him in the animated series
I'm sure most know, but there is a little clip after the credits featuring Samual L Jackson, so don't leave when the credits start ;)
Amazing film, i loved it
Very good movie, but they spent way too much time about 38 hours before they got attacked in the military truck. Other than that, the final fight between him and his ex-friend was good. I always knew Pepper and Stark were gonna get together in the end. 9/10
Saw this today :)
Gotta say, its ******* amazing ;)
The CGI is breathtaking o:
If youve not seen it, id defo recommend it :)
With the character of Ironman not being the most internationally established superhero, I had mixed feelings going into the film through fear of it being just a cash-in on the comic book sub-genre craze that Spider-man began in 2002, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a thoroughly entertaining and refreshing film with engaging storytelling. I wonder how this will fair with Nolan's The Dark Knight and The Incredible Hulk around the corner.
I hope you are joking. Heath Ledger wasn't even that much of an established star; he was on the road. Batman Begins was hugely successful and the sequel is penned to be as well. Heath's death will only create more of a buzz for people to see his last ever film. Bale was the original draw for the film, not Ledger.

to those who missed the bit right after the credits.
to those who cant download from demonoid:
Omgosh, I hate those 'after credits' teasers because if you don't know about them, you miss them. Thanks for the spoiler, Samsabear.
When I was asked to go to the cinema to watch Ironman (a plot to get me out of the house, tbh), I had mixed feelings. Reminded me of a kiddie's movie from the title having never seen the trailer or read the comic....
I was forced to eat my words. Funny in many places and the whole cinema laughed when....
Thought it was also funny when
Despite all the funny parts, there were also some serious parts, which would have had me on the edge of my seat if it wasn't for my tonsils causing me grief... all better now though. Sore throat I think it was :P
It seems quite good, I have to watch it sometime.
Hey, IRONMAN is a superb film, action-packed with a good storyline and at the end there is a great shock!
5/5, Loved it!
Amit
Wow it's already been leaked in bad quality but after all this feedback I think I shall go watch it in the Cinema instead :)
(Click Spoiler for download links):
Don't watch something like Iron Man on your computer, go to the cinema. It's a much better experience.
yeh, i downloaded a cam of it earlier because i wanted to see it again, but it wasnt worth the time. its so much better in the cinema.
if you only go see a film in the cinema every now and then, this should be one of those films
Take me sexy.
How long will it be in cinema's lol
The life of films in cinemas varies from place-to-place. The average is 2 months to even 4.
I loved it, i got kinda confused at what was happening in some parts but other than that it was great!
By far the best marvel film to date. There were moments were it did actually send shivers down my back and I thought, DAMN, this is a good movie. I loved the character of Tony Stark, I thought the wit was immense. It also had a good structure to it because they didn't rush anything, especially breaking in the character which was great. Obviously this is because they know they have 2 more planned, but I think it was great. :D:D:D
Did it actualy get 96% on RottenTomatoes?
Use IMDb it's more reliable and accurate.
hmm every review i read sounds good i well want to see it now. damn it no money
