I had this issue a while back.. I had to wipe my PC because I was getting the same error whenever I visited a page that needed to use shockwave.
Run a DEEP Virus scan (load your PC into Safemode) Also try and download/install an earlier version of Adobe Shockwave :)
I occasionally have this problem. When I do I google for the full version of shockwave.

You will need to scroll down the page as flash player is first.
You have to make sure that the previous version is uninstalled. Here is the link for troubleshooting shockwave.
