We have a network server, HP Media Vault, its a media server/print server that we can put two hard drives in, both 1TB so it could be technically a 2tb ext. drive :P

That's the one I have, 500gb.
I bought same series last year although mine is a 400gb :( that cost me £60 from maplin lol
I reccon you could get a 1TB for close enough to that price.
Kevin
No, it's because hardware manufacturers use 1GB = 1 billion bytes however most OSs calculate the space by dividing the number of bytes by 1,073,741,824. So my 1TB drive is 931GB and all 3 of my 500GB drives are 465GB.
Not even close, I have never seen a 1TB drive under £100.
Still no
:) Ouch.
I have a 1T NAS Box, I need it as theres so many people who use it (eg. Friends) so they need there own account and storage limit, so i have to have a NAS Box
(NAS = Network Attached Storage)
Wait.. you bought storage for your friends?
Do they live at your house or something?
No its over the internet, i bought it for coursework but my friends wanted to use it as well
