
No, it's because hardware manufacturers use 1GB = 1 billion bytes however most OSs calculate the space by dividing the number of bytes by 1,073,741,824. So my 1TB drive is 931GB and all 3 of my 500GB drives are 465GB.

I have a 1T NAS Box, I need it as theres so many people who use it (eg. Friends) so they need there own account and storage limit, so i have to have a NAS Box
