Delete them to the Recycle Bin and then empty the Recycle Bin? :S
don't permanently delete them.
no help so far :(
nope. if you delete private stuff (porn, credit cards etc), they can all be recovered and used.

does that help?
Dont know if this will work but i know it doesn't at least go to recycle bin
When deleting select what you want then press **** and delete.
Yeah it's still there once passing through the recycle bin. I know you get can a programme to bring things back, as well as to permanently delete them
However, the one definite way is by reinstalling windows on your computer
A simple google search would of done.
yoshi thats reformatting, you can recover files after a reformat :P
Select the file(s) you want to delete.
Hold down shift.
Press the delete key.
If you're that concerned about privacy see: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb897443.aspx
Here's a list of applications that do the same thing: http://www.thefreecountry.com/securi...redelete.shtml
hotel, Shift+Delete don't work, but I found a program.
thx
left click, delete
Imosae, it doesn't PERMANENTLY delete files.
Try this http://www.jetico.com/bcwipe3.htm
Got some incriminating CP?
I'm pretty sure he resolved this...
You will never be able to delete a file permantly without destroying your hard drive, no matter how you try, but heavily encrypting the files will mean u won't be able to access them tbh.
In theory, it is always possible to recover any files, no matter how hard you try to get rid of them. The only way to completely get rid of it would be to completely desrtoy the hard drive into dust and chuck it in the sea or something.
reformatting works, thats if you wanted to re-install windows though.
delete system 32 and restart, or use a microwave
Deleting System32 wont remove the files off the drive -_-
And neither will a microwave. You have to crush the HDD to dust and then put it into the 4 corners of the world on a windy day :P
Just do a 7-pass format on the empty areas of the drive to remove them. You would need a lab to get them back.
I didn't know the word has corners lol
I use tuneup for undeleting and deleting files completely
In plain english, a file shredder
It'll still be there.
4 corners of the world:
""Europeans in the 16th century divided the world into four continents: Africa, America, Asia and Europe.[1] Each of the four continents was seen to represent its quadrant of the world—Europe in the north, Asia in the east, Africa in the south, and America in the west. This division fit the Renaissance sensibilities of the time, which also divided the world into four seasons, four classical elements, four cardinal directions, four classical virtues, etc.
The four corners of the world refers to the Americas (the "west"), Europe (the "north"), Asia/Oceania (the "east"), and Africa (the "south")."

Crap - so all that porn which i thought was safe from the preying eyes of my family they can still access?
im slightly worried about what u would be trying that hard to delete....
http://www.download.com/TuneUp-Utili...-10206416.html
works quite well.
Includes the guttman method of removing (Higher than the dod military standard) which will overwrite the file with random characters a few times then delete it from what windows can see. Also has one that covers it with 0s which is quite useful if your just going fast. (Is useful to delete windows.old folder which is a pain in the ass to delete)
Delete them to the recycle bin then use evidence eliminator (www.evidence-eliminator.com) its proven to defeat all known methods such as encase at getting the files back.
