Some upgrade advice

Well im looking to upgrade the other PC ive got here now, current specs are:

Graphics Card is roughy: Nvidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400
HDD: 40GB(fine for now)
Cd Rewriter
CD Drive
Floppy Drive
Don't think the PC is quite sure what processor is has, some areas say Celeron and others are saying Pentium4

Ive done a crucial scan and it came up with these results, but im not sure my motherboard can even have that much RAM, it was made around 1999/2000 ish :P

What cheap upgrades could I do to improve the performance?

Upgrading anything on that PC would be a waste of money.

You would stuggle to find any good updates considering how old your hardware is. Just either build a new computer or buy a new one.

Would be a waste of money, but if you insist on upgrading something then the only thing i'd take a punt on is a little more ram. Whack a 512MB module in there to make it 0.75GB in total.

Yeaah will proberly do that, only about £7 for new RAM anyway :)

Get a new motherboard
New processor
More RAM

Go wild ;)

Yep it was :P Ive taken it back to the blue XP theme now :)

Right click on my computer > properties > advanced > visual themes (or something similar) and then check adjust for best performance.

I have turned off all visual effects :P I got tuneup to do everything for me when I first booted it :)

Ive got another 2 computers that will be lying about soon so ill see what I can salvage from them.
