Renault Clio

Well im wanting a 1.2 blueish renault and im wondering how much i should be looking at with a good mileage and what i should look for really, its going to be my first car so yeh a wee bit of help :D

Brothers Black clio, 3 door, 54 Plate Was £4k...

Dunno about mileage at the time, probs about 60-80k?

Im looking for a 02' one for around £1600 in blue or black not to sure where to look though tried ebay going to try auto trader now

No offence, But i've seen your car And the wiring in your car, especially on your sub... And In my opinion that completely writes off your opinion, also because clio's are acctually good cars :)

have a look on autotrader and pistonheads to get a rough idea. i got mine on a 52 plate with 45k on the clock last year, still going strong at 54k.

it's a long story really, basically the car was written off and then repaired so now it's on the register, entirely nothing to be concerned about as it's been fully repaired, it's just i got it a hell of a lot cheaper :)

that 1.5k one doesn't sound bad, ideally you'd be looking for one that's had some kind of service or even the cambelt changed, though i don't know if that's common in 1.2s.

make sure you get a 16v too, the 8v engine is crap.

it is, but all clios are great little cars. if you got the one above, i'd get it serviced (or get a haynes and do it yourself) as soon as possible.

oil change, spark plugs etc.

Haha Jesus your clio Is Nice ;)

& yeah, Most parts for clios are cheap aswel, Only the odd part is expensive. (From experience anyway)

No offence but I bought car like that and the subs stripped in my room and I'm going to re-wire? So read my thread properly before you give your opinion :)

I did read your post

& what you mean before? I can give my opinion whenever, And that is that Clios Are better than Corsas.

:) & thats not biased, My dad has a Corse & brother a Clio, And the clio kills corsa in all ways.

& i honestly dont care about your sub, I've seen the pics of it in your room :$:$

:) Out of interest what make are the subs?

I got a Mutant 1000W & two Vibe 450 6x9's In my bedroom :)

Edit: You may have bought the car like that, But He's intending on buying the clio "like that" :S

American Earthquake 600w each and amp is a American Legacy 600w Limited Edition and I got 2 JBL 6x9s and Kenwood CD player but all getting upgraded in new car ;) boot build to come with neons the lot.

haha Nice, I'm upgradin to Alpine R/ Fusion powerplantSub somtime this year.

:P I got 2 undercar neon sets in my room... In the box cause they we're canibalised from halfords, £8 a set... Not bad at all :)

Yes I've heard it makese no difference at all what car you have, as long as you have big speakers and neons you'll be the most respected driver in town

Especially as i dont drive :)!

Mabye if you read by posts, the neons are in the loft & the speakers & sub are in my bedroom?

I wasnt getting angry at all?

I just don't undertsand why you had a dig because i have neons & a sound system :S but then again, i dont get why you have a dig at anybody.
