So yeah the title says my main feature of this thread. I went and took alot of ya'lls advice to go ahead and get a new guy. So i've been with him for a while now, and it's got quite serious. We have these never ending phone calls every night where he constantly tells me 'i love you, or i love you so much, i never want to lose you, your the one, your the best girlfriend ever' Yes it is irl incase your wondering xD But the thing is... sometimes we don't talk at much and I miss him loadssss. He tells me im all he talks about to his mates and he can't get me out of his head or stop thinking about me. Today I woke up, to go on msn and find out there's something he wants to tell me. Being ' Meree I think we should just be mates ' My main question being 'WHY!?' 'He said he loves me still but wants to end it' 'i said did u mean all those things u said? (That i listed above) and he said yes' The main thing that got me conufsed when i asked did u really mean I was the one, and he said yes. SO WHY END IT?

(Im on ps3 so it wouldn't let me write anymore sorry) and basically how could he steep so low to tell me all those meaningful things and then go and hurt me like that. It's beyond selfishness at how upset I actually am. But why would he do this if he says im the one for him, im the best gf, etc. +rep for mature, answers.

LOL uh hes probably found someone else tbf, guys work mysterious ways when it comes to 'love'. probably didnt mean em but wants to say them to make u feel better anyway and to make him look less of a ****. true story.

Firstly you couldn't have been with him a "while" cause it wasn't too long ago you were edating Matt?! :S lol hmm maybe he uses HxF on the sly and saw you and peeko last night! haha all jokes aside...

It seems like somethings pressuring him to end it with you, if he says he meant those things and wants to end it you need to find out what. It could be pressure from his mates or he could be under stress from school or something? Speak to him about it and try to find out why the sudden change of heart.

Actually we broke up ages ago, LOL. And uhm, well I have, I keep asking him why and all he replies with is 'I just wanna be mates' every single time.

tell him that answer isn't appropriate. Say if he loves you and you're the one why would he just wanna be mates. Tell him to be truthful or you'll stop speaking to him all together.

tell him that he cant love you then and then say you can't be bothered to talk to him anymore. If he's worth it he'll come running back.

That's not true at all, some people just don't function well in relationships and feel uncomfortable with the idea of it. I shouldn't imagine that in such a short time real "in love" love could have blossomed, especially if things he does still comes as a surprise, but that aside you shouldn't force someone into a relationship they don't want to "prove" their feelings.

I think rather than him actually being a jerk your view of him is just tainted because he's hurt you. It's in your best interests to remain friends (unless he really does turn into a full on tosspot) and just accept that the relationship was a mistake

he sounds like a jerk darlin, dnt show him that your bothered. Just take it on the chin and move on with your life. Yeah it hurts im sure but all you need to remind yourself of is that its his loss right?!

All i can say is don't fall for all that crap. I've been with too many girls and thrown around the word 'Love' but never meant it. I'm still young and have a lot to learn and love isn't one of them yet.

It's stupid that he seems to have no reason over it. Especially in the quite so sudden way that you describe it. He surely must have a reason, try asking?

If he just throws you aside just like that then I don't think it's worth wasting your time. Although I agree, it probably would have ended anyway between the two of you eventually, though the thing is he hasn't really good a reason for it which I find quite strange. I think you need a talk to him, and see how he feels and if he doesn't care then throw him away as he just won't be your time by that point.

Well,situations like this do happen in relationships.

You know,I think maybe his problem is the fear of commitment.Yes,probably he loves you but he thinks at one point somehow that things between u guys happen so quickly and it scares the hell out of him.Trust me,some people do get scared when things get serious.

My advice is to slow it down,leave him alone for a while and then talk about it.Just let him know how you feel and you're probably better after talking to him.

If things do not work out,just move on darling :)
