Thanks Alex. I've already commented on your resignation thread, but you were a brilliant member of staff and highly approachable. I loved how witty you were, and you always livened things up! :)

The first person I told that I had been promoted to Competitions Manager (before it was even announced - sorry nvr :P) so you've been with me from the very beginning even if you weren't actually hired as comps staff until a month afterwards. You've been an amazing help to me and an amazing help for all the managers that you've had before and after me. We have gone through lots of highs and some lows (I mean, Reinjected, wtf) but I wouldn't change any of it. You taught me a lot of things, including never to get stuck in Spanish toilets, that I will remember for the rest of my life.
At the beginning, management would have been a nightmare, especially a small department like competitions that was struggling to reinvent itself but with patience, care and attention that you gave it, I think (maybe I'm biased) that we've made it into a brilliant department with a nice atmosphere to work under. After a while, we just got into our routine. I'd add the prizes, you'd move the comps and do the announcement and it just seemed to work.
If I get an assistant manager half as good as you Alex, I'll be a very happy guy. Thank you for a wonderful time and I want an invite to the wedding.

I dont think I cant put to words how amazing Alex was, especially in comps. I worked with Alex in both Comps and HxHD, and in both he was truly brilliant - however Comps especially so.
Not much I can really say apart from the fact you'll be truly missed. xox
