The first person I told that I had been promoted to Competitions Manager (before it was even announced - sorry nvr ) so you've been with me from the very beginning even if you weren't actually hired as comps staff until a month afterwards. You've been an amazing help to me and an amazing help for all the managers that you've had before and after me. We have gone through lots of highs and some lows (I mean, Reinjected, wtf) but I wouldn't change any of it. You taught me a lot of things, including never to get stuck in Spanish toilets, that I will remember for the rest of my life.

At the beginning, management would have been a nightmare, especially a small department like competitions that was struggling to reinvent itself but with patience, care and attention that you gave it, I think (maybe I'm biased) that we've made it into a brilliant department with a nice atmosphere to work under. After a while, we just got into our routine. I'd add the prizes, you'd move the comps and do the announcement and it just seemed to work.

If I get an assistant manager half as good as you Alex, I'll be a very happy guy. Thank you for a wonderful time and I want an invite to the wedding.

Tis painful writing this because it's the first time in a long time that I haven't been in the same department as you. You my friend are the best person on this damn forum. I find you bloody out of this world and I don't know what I'll ever do without you. I won't write an essay, I've done it several times. Thank you for everything, for giving me the opportunity and teaching me so much. I love you.
