I know that we post sort of news-ish kind of things in the Habbo in general section, but habbo in general kind of suggests that anything related to habbo that isn't trading or news goes in there. I posted a pretty pointless, funny (to me) picture, and it has been moved to spam...
I thought spam was non-habbo related generally so i thought since my image was actually general habbo stuff it should stay there and not go to spam?

How exactly is anyone going to make a habbo related discussion out of that

Like I was getting at - It wasn't go discuss anything? It was purely a HABBO RELATED image, which I put in the Habbo in General section :) Spam isn't habbo related so my picture shouldn't have been sent there. Spam or not.
The thread was pointless though and all pointless threads belong to spam. Just because the image was habbo related it doesn't mean that it should go in the habbo forums. :P
A spam section for Habbo specifically would be cool, just so people can post pointless things like "omg I need a HC sofa quick!!" People would use it for quick room advertising, or just to have a quick moan about something which had happened. I'd view and use it as it would be a lot more flexible and free than the current sections.
You'd get moaned at if you posted Habbo related things in Spam.
You'd get moaned at by moderators if you posted it in Habbo in General... you just can't win! :P

I don't know why you would create threads in a spam section for room advertisement and furniture trades when there are sections for that already? I'm not a fan of a spam thread though for Habbo anyway:P
A Habbo spam section would barely be used imo, or it would be a new member place.
Not being ude, but whenever someone posts a 'LOL SO FUNNY' thread or something about Habbo it really isn't funny. Ever.
I did suggest spam forums for all main categories such as Habbo, Sports, Runescape etc. I think it would add a lot to the forum and make it quite unique.

Yeah but those sections are very formal kind of sections. A nice easier spam section which people do/would check often would get quick replies and be a laid back section for habbo-related spam. Yes my post was obviously spam and because I was bored but it was still habbo related and I don't like to post habbo stuff in the spam section because they hate it!Quote:

Not necessarily. The reason the spam Habbox Staff forum was taken away was precisely because it didn't increase posting at all. It meant everyone just used the spam forum because it's often more laidback in spam forums. Therefore gommeinc is right that we should not be adding laidback spam forums, we should be making the forum itself more laidback and allowing people to post threads like the example in the Habbo in general forum... or encouraging people to just stick two fingers up at those in the spam forum who, instead of just ignoring the "unfunny Habbo spam" threads, post abuse instead. This is the feedback thread and a member has suggested a 'habbo spam'. Newer members may not feel comfortable with their threads being moved to spam and these mostly use the Habbo sections. The part in bold I do not understand. Are you talking about this thread? If a thread is pointless then the only place for it really is spam.

Can't they just be posted in Habbo In General? If they're involving discussion it's fine. Habbo threads are rarely and impossible to make pointless as they have a themed point - Habbo. If a thread is boring, it'll sink and disappear. It's one thing Habbox do not need a make system for, because it's done through the interests of members.
