the average user age seems to be older now, habbo have no issues with you posting pictures of yourself and you're allowed to post them in the graphics forum...

i think they decided you're allowed to as your profile pic (does everyone have ability to have a picture on their profile?) which seems fair to me, i ain't like desperate for it to be allowed as avatars don't care either way as there's still option to put it on your profile
isn't there terms when you sign up that you have to be a certain age?
i agree this is a logical step forward and should've happened years ago
look at chf/hffm i think that's a major reason (for some reason) why they're popular. bring on the pervs.

just fyi, my reason for this is i had an av and sig set that didn't even show my face n as soon as mods realized it was me it was removed, silly

if the reason is that people don't want to see other peoples faces then can we introduce a rule where i don't have to look at ugly avatars!!!!! nly makes sense allowing them.......it will cause no harm lol
idk i don't personally like the idea of being able to see peoples pics as their avatars, not that appealing for me

Wasn't it more of a Community vote about this rule rather than management. As I remember quite a few people saying they don't wish to see users faces in avatars and signatures.
don't understand that rule though as you can just put a photo of an ugly celebrity though. but, democracy rules.

If people aren't bothered by having people in profile pictures, that doesn't mean we should keep it the same as it is now...
If anything do a poll as it will be interesting to see what the view on it is in 2013 than what it has been for the past 9 years.

My personal view is that it should be allowed, if people want to post a picture of themselves then I don't see any harm in it, and I don't think it would hurt anyone else really. You can do it on most other forums, so I don't get why you cant here, and I think users are generally a lot older these days and stuff.
I don't think a poll would hurt really, as it should be a community based decision and it would be interesting to see the outcome of such a poll, providing it is advertised correctly and stuff.
Ahh, ok, that makes sense, I did give her a month or two of VIP and she doesn't have it anymore :P So I was right, in that you can't have an avatar bigger than you're allowed, but that doesn't take into account losing your VIP status, so my bad :)Quote:
