Wow, my girlfriend's avatar has been removed recently... I'm guessing because it had her in it... And frankly, that's pretty ridiculous, here's the image, now imagine how much you could see when it was shrinked to 100 x 100 px, or whatever the size limit is for regular new members.

That's what it looked like as an avatar, but even smaller, because that's reshaped to my VIP width/length.

My personal opinion on that is that it shouldn't have been removed and that is ridiculous for sure.

I've just looked into this as I thought it would be silly too, and she was asked to remove her latest avatar due to it being oversized, but that was a couple of months ago. There is nothing about having a picture of herself.

Nah, if your vip/donator runs outs etc, your avatar becomes too big and one of us sexy red people send you a PM asking you to change it etc.

There has been no problems in terms of her having a picture as herself from what I can see, only previous oversized stuff

My personal view is that it should be allowed, if people want to post a picture of themselves then I don't see any harm in it, and I don't think it would hurt anyone else really. You can do it on most other forums, so I don't get why you cant here, and I think users are generally a lot older these days and stuff.

I don't think a poll would hurt really, as it should be a community based decision and it would be interesting to see the outcome of such a poll, providing it is advertised correctly and stuff.

Ahh, ok, that makes sense, I did give her a month or two of VIP and she doesn't have it anymore So I was right, in that you can't have an avatar bigger than you're allowed, but that doesn't take into account losing your VIP status, so my bad
