He already had a reputation as a ‘sexist dinosaur’ for comments about women needing to ‘clean behind the fridge’, then he highlighted concerns about spending on foreign aid with a supposedly ‘racist’ speech about helping ‘Bongo Bongo land’ and he followed that up by his jokey announcement at a UKIP fringe meeting promoting women in politics that ‘the room is full of *****.’

Mr Bloom, who has recently published his autobiography, was finally forced out of UKIP after he hit a TV journalist over the head with a conference programme in an angry on-camera clash.

Relaxing at home, the former city investment manager said his wife’s pose with dusters, a glass of red wine, curlers, cigarette in mouth, apron and bright red lipstick, was her best attempt ‘to portray a ****.’ While he always enjoyed playing his pair of bongo drums.

Might some of Mr Bloom’s critics take offence again? Well if they do he and his wife certainly don’t care.

Self mocking, shame it is because of his blatantly racist comments.

David Camerons card isn't exactly festive, but is not uncommon - a family photo is becoming more common with personalised cards.

There's a reason people act like policitians... It's because that's what they are.

I wouldn't associate myself with people who refer to "bongo bongo land" whilst down the pub, not because of the term in itself, just it isn't the sort of thing I would expect to come from the kind of person I like to speak to (ie. not living in the past, or just blatantly common).

To be honest, it is laughable to hear about twisting words, from someone such as yourself that makes constant threads BASED ENTIRELY on twisted facts (you love Murdoch papers, as Daltron proved the other day), and twist every thing you can to make out as if UKIP is the perfect British party, that the entire country supports. So please, don't tell me about twisting things - that is exactly what you do day in, day out.

To be honest, I really couldn't give a **** what Godfrey Bloom is giving as his personal Christmas card; however the fact you made the thread (heck, I wouldn't even have read a news article if it had appeared whilst glancing at headlines) suggests you are the one who cares and wants to once again somehow have a dig at David Cameron for having a Christmas card... with his family on it. Jesus, that really shows how down to earth "Godders" is, and what a pompous, out of touch bloke Cameron is.

Well actually I mainly posted it to wind people like you up who went on a big rant about how racist etc he was when he made those bongo-bongo/women are ***** comments.

That is absolutely fine by me; there is simply some vocabulary in the English language that I wouldn't use, and couldn't imagine others around me using. In which case, why did you feel the need to include David Cameron in a thread with a link to a news article... that doesn't mention David Cameron once. I wouldn't suggest he is in touch with the normal British public, although I would question whether Nigel Farage, the leader of UKIP, is either.

Ever noticed how both David Cameron and Nigel Farage feel the need to be photographed repeatedly holding a pint? As if that suddenly brings them in-line with the British public? To me, that suggests they both know they are not "typical", and need to try and prove they are. Meanwhile, the same Google search shows very little of Ed Miliband or Nick Clegg (although, I would suggest Clegg is out of touch, but is just useless at trying to show he isn't).

I had and have no idea of the Australian and instead was pointing out the poll. I sometimes post poll articles from the Guardian which is a paper that gives a platform to terrorists and child fiddlers, why does nobody criticise the Guardian I wonder?

Well at least Farage has had a job in the real world unlike Cameron, Miliband and Clegg who have spent their whole lives working in politics. Farage left the real world to fight for a cause he believed in, the others just went straight into running the country without any experience of business or work in general.

People don't buy the other three as that because they're not and are just being put up to it by their PR agents. It's simply not belivable.

What I mean by that is the mindset. I'll give you an example. I have a friend who lives in London, and whenever I comment on immigration he replies "it's not that bad, I live in London" - to which I reply yes, you live in a rich area of London that's inhabited by the upper middle class (known as the Islington elite) who are totally out of touch with the rest of the country and who only experience mass immigration when they have a day out at Hackey market.

They're not the ones who's kids have to compete with migrants for low paid jobs, they're not the ones who face the crime and disorder that arises from mass immigration, they're not the ones who have to wait behind migrants on council house lists, they're not the ones waiting on the long hospital lists because of migrants. Etc.

In other words, they live in a bubble like the political class - the Westminster Bubble.

Well I say that and I live in Middlesbrough, one of the most economically deprived areas in the country where the only league tables it's near the top are for unemployment, child poverty, alcohol-related illnesses etc. Competing for low skill jobs? What jobs?!! haha. That's more of a working class reality where I live!

Just seems a bit simplistic, one cliche of middle class life is that they're all left wing luvvies out of touch with the real world and the other cliche is that they're the daily mail readers right wingers who moan and moan about the country going to the dogs who look their noses down at those beneath them in the social ladder. It's a shame you resorted to such a simplistic attack!

I should point out whilst I am a Telegraph reader, I am yet to read the Guardian. Furthermore, I don't think I've ever read the Observer. But nice assumptions. The Daily Mail? Worst paper in Britain after the Sun and Daily Star.

Nigel Farage does it for PR just like the others, anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool. I would hardly call someone who worked as a stock broker and went to public school a standard bloke in Britain, so he really hasn't had a different life than many Politicians.

Also, we all know you despise the BBC - however it is a trusted news source across the country, that doesn't have constant articles telling us how "30m Eastern Europeans are going to be coming in 2014"...

The point is that many MPs in the Commons today are the kind of people who are completely insulated from normal life - since the grammar schools were abolished, this has increasingly become the case... just look at the Conservative Party hierarchy under Cameron to cite one example. The problem is this, that many of these people when younger led lives in prosperous places like Islington in London where it's pretty easy to get a coffee shop job even when competiting against low skilled immigrants. Therefore, when other people in less advantaged areas complain about this - they are met with howls and chants of 'racist' and 'bigot' despite the fact they are voicing genuine concerns.

And that's the problem on a range of issues, they're totally insulated in the lives they (mainly) lead in the wealthy capital. I don't think it's fair that British people are denied work in place of migrant workers whereas the politicians and their corporate backers do. Who's right?

Indeed, he's been a lucky chap going to a private school in Kent - absolutely. The reason why he has more of a common touch though is the fact that he has had a real job whereas the other three haven't ... all Clegg, Cameron and Miliband have known is politics.

And that's why they don't stand for anything really and he does - and that doesn't mean you have to agree with him. You know, it's like Margaret Thatcher and Tony Benn: whichever side of the political spectrum you stand on, at least people admired them for their principled positions rather than pandering to everybody and anybody. Farage is the same, love him or loathe him you at least know what he stands for.

So? I don't trust it and therefore don't pay any attention to it. It's as simple as that. If you like the BBC then sure, keep using it. But don't hound the rest of us who hate the way it twists the truth just in a more clever way than the newspapers (of both left and right) do.

Nobody to my knowledge has claimed this, it's a figment of your imagination. What has been claimed (by mainly the Express, Mail and UKIP) is this: that on January 1st 2014, we're opening the borders to 29m Romanians and Bulgarians as they will be entitled to free movement around the EU like other EU member states are.

That is a statement of fact.

Being a broker is a fairly privileged job; hardly a "normal" job. Bit like saying "fat cat" bankers are in "normal" jobs. Sorry, but whether you like Farage or not, he simply isn't the typical British man.

Ironically, I would argue that you are the one who hounds us for relying on the BBC; I don't hound you for not using it - I may hound you for relying on certain newspapers that are nothing more than jumped up versions of "the Sun" (ie. Daily Mail).

But the way certain news sources are publishing it is as if we can expected a vast majority of their population to fly over on the 1st of January. I still stand by the fact that the vast number of jobs that Eastern Europeans end up in are totally unskilled jobs that many British people have this bizarre thing against ("I'm not doing that job").

But nobody denies he has had a lucky upbringing.

The point is, he's had a real job and the others haven't - all they've ever known is politics. That is why they are so out of touch. That is why increasingly people are leaving them in droves.

Find me one example where i've commented on a thread somebody has posted saying something like 'OH YEAH THE BBC WOULD SAY THAT' like I get all the time when I post from the Daily Mail. +rep and a sticker if you can.

In some cases - often though British people are discriminated against in favour of foreign workers who will work for under the minimum wage and the jobs are only being advertised abroad.

Either way, let's say a lot of Britons refuse to do the jobs - it's time to make them do the jobs for the sake of our future as a country. But if you keep letting hundreds of thousands of foreigners in to do those jobs, then Britons will continue to claim there is no work. And all this isn't mentioning what i've touched on here - that in the likes of London it's relatively easy for middle class kids to get restaurant/coffee shop jobs alongside the migrants, but in other parts of the country the British kids are being completely passed over.

Any sane country would make an effort to get it's young into work rather than importing hundreds of thousands of foreign workers to do it.
