Hi,
Over the last 2 months or so no Habbox Events have been added to the Habbox Forum calendar. Personally, I preferred this because I knew what was going on and I actually could know when they are on. However, now, some of the announcments are when the event begins, some fifteen minutes before and really the maximum amount of time I get to know is one hour before the event. I also liked the Habbox Forum calendar so you could see roughly how many events went on everyday because I know for a fact, when it was updated in February (when I was around in the team), it was amazing to see so many events at the bottom and showed something. I've had to ask most days to find out what events there are and it's just a shame not to know when they are.
I would say something else on that matter but tbh, there's nothing else to say. I think the Habbox Forum Calendar is a great way for promotion of events.
Also another thing, slightly off what I made the topic for, is the amount of advertisment Habbox Events should be doing. The Events department, in my personal belief, is there to advertise Habbox and it's sites. I know for a fact that there are only a few organisers who do this (I'm not naming anyone) and it's a wonderful way to promote the department. I actually don't believe the dept. should be there unless advertising is done. I don't know about your views on this.
Finally, the wide spread of events. I think that the events are more spread out than before (even if I did do lots of original events) but there is still room for improvement. Pay day has been done a lot in the last two weeks and so has pod racing (I think), but again that's just my opinion. The Mole and Musical Chairs are two great examples which are good games but aren't done so frequently, and can be replaced with one of the common events (not literally, just so that it's not done repetitively). I will also be happy to teach anyone my Splat! game or my CHARGE! game because I know it got a lot of positive feedback (yes Phil, that's directed at you as I did say I'd teach you Splat months ago).
What's your opinions on the current events?
