Hackers Gone Wild

Recently there has been a huge cyber attack on big websites such as, Paypal, Mastercard and Visa. This is due to a huge cyber attack and a project called, Project Payback.
As soon as paypal is back up I would suggest that everyone deleted their credit card information, seeing keeping it there could destroy your bank accounts balance, if you know what I mean.

I doubt this is the case, they aren't trying to take data anyway. They are just giving these sites a wake up call by taking them offline for a number of hours because they stopped offering their services to Wikileaks. If you could link me to any valid news source such as the BBC that state our details are at risk then please do so.

And there I was thinking this was going to be about some new sexy dvd featuring hackers on spring break.

I do believe that this is actually a DDoS attack on these companies whereby they flood the site for page requests causing the server to use all its resources or reset, whilst the data remains secure it does lead to service outages which is what has happened in this case.
