Try fire giants??

You have to do waterfall quest though

Fire giants are easy to kill, they dont give brilliant drops (sometimes though), but decent (rune scims, chains, arrows). Go to karmaja dungeon (no quest needed).

Trolls (granite shield)

That or jump into full veracs and take on the KQ

all give good xp (not really the KQ though)

IF you have 52 slayer, go kill Jellies. They drop rune full helmets and mithril boots often and clue scrolls. (lvl 3 scrolls)
