Default Just some things I want to know if you have time. :D

Hello Alice (or other competition staff if you post answers here),

I know what to do to become competition staff but I don't know how you chose us. Ok, let me tell you what I know:
    - Always use correct spelling.
    - Don't ask for a job (this thread is not meant to ask for a job in case you might think that)
    - Have a big imagination.
    - Be on the forum so you are reliable.
    - Don't go crazy over the job.

That is what I know. Here is what I want to know:
    - How do you check if we have a big imagination?? Do you look in our posts to see if we post things wherefore we need a big imagination? Or do you look for ideas we give (or don't give) you for competitions??

Well that's it because I already know what you do to check the other things.

Thanks for your time and keep up with the good competitions.

I hope I win a prize for answering your questions :p

I will quote myself here, as this is what I said in another thread you created:

    MY Quote:
There are many factors to be considered when asking someone to be a part of the Competition Staff. I won't go into too much detail. But here are a few of the important requirements. They are not necessarily in any specific order.

    1. Regularly come on the Forum. They need to be reliable.
    2. To be able to write clearly with correct spelling.
    3. Know how to behave, and also know when not to comment.
    4. Obviously have an interest in competitions.
    5. Have a good imagination.

So if I was looking for new staff, above are just a few of the requirements that would suit

Firstly I said here are a few of the important requirements. There are more :p

Next I didn’t say BIG, I said GOOD.

It’s not just about creating competitions and having good ideas. It’s about paying attention to detail. If you can’t pay attention, then how can you moderate the competition forum?

Something I previously didn’t mention was trust. I believe this to be extremely important. I accept donations on behalf of Habbox and match them to competitions. Sierk and jrh2002 have trusted me to take care of Habbox Competitions. The least I can do is to ensure that whoever joins the team can also be trusted. This I hope is fairly obvious.

Maybe now you can see why sending me a pm on the forum, asking to work in Competitions is more than likely to be a waste of my time. For those that don’t know, some days I average 10-20 pm’s, mainly competition related, but some ask for advice or even help about something that has nothing to do with competitions whatsoever.

Now please don’t ask me who I trust, because that is something I have to judge for myself

    Thanks alot MissAlice,
Sorry about that big, I didn't remember it very well, sorry.
And another question (last one, I promise):
If we have an (good) idea, what do you want us to do?? Send you a pm or post it in this forum??
    Thank you.

    No problem

Well since I am not the only one involved in Competitions, it would probably be best to send a pm with your idea to any of the Competition Staff (not Spectate though). He has enough to deal with, looking after Habbox Members Comps.

Maybe they can use an idea or two, we don't mind sharing ideas .

    Thanks
    Alice
