I think the whole point here is, why couldn't a mod have moved the thread into a staff sub-forum for management viewing? Management can see who moved a thread, and the person moving the thread could so easily have made a post at the end of the thread stating their concerns, which could of been deleted after, if necessary.

It's not staff being lazy, it's the fact that mods can't or haven't been allowed to move a thread because the thread creator was a member of staff.

Hopefully, this thread has highlighted a problem which can be resolved.

I thought they had a thread dump for this purpose?

There is your answer! They do have one, but for specific rule breaking only

I agree, personally I would've done that, but on the other hand I might have been fired for it, so I can see why nothing was done. I personally think the mod guide needs re-writing and a few things changed/ammended to make our jobs easier. Another example being there's no infraction for pointless posting, which is actually the main offence I see. There's too much red tape in habbox, its a shame common sense doesn't prevail.

Moderators should be able to give out warnings/infractions to staff, excluding other moderators as that's a different matter. Staff are still forum members after all and they should be following the rules in a much better manner than others are expected to. Staff editors can be aware of the infractions issued simply though something like a PM to them or a thread in the moderator forums like "Report staff problems to the the staff editor here", which is very simular to the other report threads already in place. This not only saves nvr PM space but makes things easier for moderators as they can just get on with their job whilst nvr gets on with more important things than just chasing staff around because they are breaking forum rules. A simply post in this thread saying that a member of staff has X number of infractions now and should be looked into would be a much better way of dealing with staff infractions. I mean it does take a whole load of infractions for a staff member to get fired, pretty much the same amount it takes for a member to go on caution. So I don't see why this wouldn't work, nor why it hasn't already been implemented.

Just a small note; I haven't had time to read the 4 pages of this thread, so If what I have said has already been mentioned just disregard this post.

All I asked for was a little slack. I made a MISTAKE a simple warning would have been fine maybe a little ban, but being PERMED for a mistake?
