Removal or editing of staff rule breaking issue

You made the thread which was wrong but from then on its down to the forum staff etc to sort it especially after it had been reported at least twice. from making a mistake you are now starting to make yourself look a little silly.

I agree there, that comment from him was abit childish and i see why your slighty mad if its been reported but all we know the posts could of been reported to the Staff Editor but he didnt have chance to act?

I honestly dont know, normally S'mods ignore post reports like that and let the forum mods deal with them ones (i think?)

on da ova hand i jst said that your wrong bcos i was tryna help them it might be agains forum rules but i had to say name for heads up.
further more, even if it was my fault forum staff should of warned me, i got no warning neither did it get removed till nearly 4 days, so as a staff i may be in the wrong but im not the only staff that is.
In conclusion my essay is finished.

We can infract users and VIPS if needing, we can even go infract staff but we'll end up getting fired :rolleyes: Super Moderators are not able to edit staff posts either. ONLY the Staff Editor can.

But s/mods can move it until its looked at? surely the mod who posted somebody was breaking the rules should have informed a s/mod?
I think the moving the thread until dealt with must be a new thing elkaa is bringing in or brought in very recently? I know either sierk, mad or both didnt like threads moved (cant remember which)
Why were the reports (2 we know of) not followed up? I am sure they would have been if the smods knew they could.

I am not angry or mad at all. I am trying to give ideas to make things work much better in my opinion and from what i see others agree with me.

But after 4 years they should be :eusa_whis and I believe the hx staff following the rules is much more important than the members following the rules as they need to set a good example for the rest of us to follow.

I am pretty sure that previously the threads/posts by staff had to stay on public view until an AGM sorted the problem. I think that a smod moving them is all thats needed and if the change has recently been made (which is why nobody seems to know about it) Well done to Elkaa or whoever made the change.

Well it was me who reported it 2/3 days ago, and in fact I wrote in my report, that staff should read the rules. I was reporting a member of staff, surely when a thread created by a member of staff gets reported, it's given some kind of priority? Staff should be setting an example not rule breaking!
I don't know if the person accused of scamming is a member of the forum, but I do think it's disgraceful that the thread wasn't moved. Hopefully a lesson has been learnt here.

I have also seen far more instances of staff breaking the rules in the last couple of months. Its a lot for one staff editor to do but if I remember rightly
the staff editor does not cover the mods -its the mod management but in any event I would suggest:

1. Ordinary staff - edited by Smods
2. Above that staff editor or GM
3. Moderation staff - AFM/FM

Smods would have the experience to do it and could refer upwards in the event of a problem.
