Rune Kite Better Than Obby shield?

you all say how good the Rune Defender is But its Defence is Rubbish all it does is add a bit to the Attack ?

The rune defender is the best item offensively for the shield spot. It gives ~20+ to all melee att and def, plus the 5+ str bonus. When you don't need def, theres no other chocie, really.

I love most, rune deffender. Had it ever since i got it. I sometimes pk with it in f2p im so bored with rune kite. I might get obby shield as backup altough not soon.

When you wear dharocks, torags, veracs, etc. A rune kite doesn't look good with it, so obby shield is better.

I personally don't like the defenders, they look terrible and aren't that good, obby shield has +5 str aswell and looks way better and it's easier to get it. Defenders are only good for pk'ing, hence why all pk'ers use them.
