Scientists set a new standard which left pluto out. If they let pluto in they would also have to add a lot more planets.

Technically text-books need to be re-wrote as there are or were more than 9 planets anyway if you count beyond this star system. Most people believe Pluto shouldn't have lost it's status.

But why not just keep Pluto as a Planet since its well known, No one was forceing them to add the Other Little ones.
