    Question I need help with studying IT

    I have entered year 10 like a lot of people here. However, I have concerns due to the fact that in two years time I will come out with an A2 level which I believe is a full A level.

    My teacher is predicting people getting E and up in A levels. I am determined to get to the top and suceed in an A. If I don't suceed and when I am interviewed for my dream job (cardiothoracic specialist) I will most probably say;

    "My qualifications are A in this A in this A in this *Ect*and C in applied IT."

    In this specific job, C and below grades are looked down apon. Even though you achieved a high level for your age, its still not good enough.

    If anybody at the moment is doing A level IT can you tell me your strategy to acheiving the top?
    I thank you for reading this

    Ive just gone into year 11, and i believe im one of the last people in the country going through the GNVQ ICT course, as its being replaced by DIDA. All i can say is strive for more, and constantly ask your ICT teacher for what requiresments are needed for each task, and ask him what you can to do it to get higher marks. Ive been doing that since i started my GNVQ Course, and ive had a distinction on all my work set.

    Goodluck.

    Yes, do the minimum the teacher sets, then when you think you've done it, ask your teacher for there opinion on it, take in there feedback, then ask what would you require to accuire the top grade for the top grade on this section of the course, take onboard what he says, add it, then keep getting there opinion, once he says that will get the top grade, move onto the next thing on your list
