I dont even know about that really. All it means is that it's been exactly 5 years, doesnt change anything else though. It could remind you of stuff, but honestly, with all respect, I dont think a day off would really be apropriate even for someone who lost someone. If anything, they shouldnt take the day off to get their mind somewhere else. If youve had 5 years of mourning, I dont think one day off will do much of a difference.

1st = Marking the hit of the first Jet.
2nd = Marking the second attack
3rd = Marking the 3rd attack where a jet crashed into the pent.
4th = Marking the fall of the Twins.
We don't have one at work as far as I know. However before there was a minutes silence for something and no one told me or my colleague and we was sat there laughing at something and the whole factory was quiet.
Our school isn't doing it;
As there isn't a national silence.
Occasionally visit and have a nose.
