    Default Confedience

Most of my friends say that I dont talk and I am a bit shy. Yes, I can be shy most of the time. I put 100 % in trying to talk in a conversation and all that. I just need to know how can I boost up my confedience? I don't really like being shy you see. I just need my confedience back, anyway reasons HOW? Thanks +REP to good replies.

I doubt that'd help, but all suggestions are welcome I guess...

The only real way you can become 'confident', is just by gradually coming out of your shell. It isn't an overnight thing, and you don't suddenly just wake up one morning confident.

I used to be quite a shy person when I was younger, but now I'm a really loud, bubbly, fun and confident sort of person.

I just don't really care what other people think of me, and they can take me as I am and if they don't like it then that's their problem - not mine. I just started talking to people, and gradually just got to know about everyone - haha.

Just start talking to people, and don't allow other people to dominate the conversations, while your pushed to the back. Stand up for yourself and make yourself heard hehe - because honestly, when your more outgoing etc you'll enjoy yourself much more.

You could perhaps try joining some sort of afterschool/during school club? Badminton? Dancing..? Something like that... ;P - And that way you will get the opportunity to meet lots of new people and make friends! :]

    That's a really good post. Thanks, +REP.

I do try alot when I met new friends, I talk, so yeah. I'll keep going as I am at the moment (Talking and joining in) and I'll see what happens. I love going out and whenever I am at a disco/party I always like dance for ages. Like I said thanks for the help!

Lol I don't! I just don't see how swearing at a teacher is going to help boost her confidence? It'll simply get her into bother, and put her behind with work etc.

When I post contradicting anyones points or advice, it is in no way personal, amd I am simply giving a contrasting idea for the thread started to see both points of view.

Glad you felt I've helped and good luck! :]

I'm only kidding :p I pick the threads I give advice in, usually when advice is actually needed. Yeah, you can ask advice on little problems, but, at the risk of sounding harsh, it usually just comes off as whining to me

Lol, fair enough - we're all entitled to our opinions! hehe!

I treat every post and thread as the same, and don't give anyone more priority than another. I give each user as good advice as I can, no matter how big or small their problem is.

In this case, I'm glad my advice has been effective for her and hopefully it will pay off! :]
