Even if the manufacturing of it was wrong (which goes towards the "both" option as man made the machine that failed) that isn't the reason it sank. The reason is that they hit an iceberg which broke their little boat and it filled with heavy heavy water.

I think 10 magic elves used their banana juice to burn a hole in the bottom of the ship.

This caused the water to go up rather than across, and pulled the ship upright into that infamous scene where it goes vertical and splits in half. If they'd left the flood hatches open it would have stayed horizontal, and in fact would have saved them quite a bit of time (and also they'd have more surface space for people to survive on).

This Coke chap is probably going to say something about the binoculars being left in Southampton, which isn't the reason it sank, it's just the reason they didn't see the iceberg in time. The real reason that the Titanic sank is that it had lots and lots of water in it.
the flood hatches had nothin ta do with it becos the ice burg ripped 5 compartments 1 more than it can stand

    Thats true.
The boat might of been weak or sumat.

But in the end it was still the iceberg that sank the boat.
