Don't get an iPod Video. Very much not worth it at the moment, the screen is too small. I'd hold out until the rumoured 'true iPod video' comes out. It's summosed to have a full-length screen (takes up the whole face of the iPod) which also functions as a touch-screen.

Just don't get a Zune. Good idea, but badly executed. I think they look awful.

Never been tempted by Creative; I like the whole package that you get with the iPod - iTunes, ITMS, easy syncing.

My brother has an ipod video and its really hard to use. All his songs have been erased off it for no reason at least 3 times, it errors a lot, and the battery is really bad.

I only got the Video because it has a bigger memory for songs.
iTunes deleted my songs twice.
Luckily on the second occasion I had a backup.
So, I don't know; just get the right player for you.

The Zen's UI is harder to use when juxtaposed with the iPod UI. Also, the Clickwheel on the iPod makes navigating around very simple and quick.

Personally, I don't enjoy watching movies on handhelds. It may be convenient, but it's no use since you're really only experiencing about 30% of the movie.
But enough about me..! x]

The iPod Video has received a pretty good upgrade now. These upgrades are pretty new, so anyone that got an iPod Video earlier this year (me. ;.; ) doesn't have these features:

- Screen is 60% brighter
- Improved Battery life: 20 hours of music or 6.5 hours of video.
- New Search feature
- New downloadable games

- iPod Video got a price drop

Personally, I prefer the iPod because of the ease of use. It lacks other functionality (FM Radio, etc.), but I enjoy it because the sound quality is far superior than any other handheld I've used, and that's a pretty big selling point in my book.

ohhh I remmeber when I got my ipod nano I ordered it off the apple website it came all the way from china and in such a little box I opened it and there it was my baby in all its beauty and splenda it was soo cool it even had my name engraved onto the back I was so scared of picking it up incase it snapped it was so tiny! it also had that really awsome shinyness which I loved.

Well the reason most people get iPods is because everyone has them and is like woa I have the newest coolist iPod.

If you want everyone to be like woa you have the new video iPod then get it.

If you want to be like I am against conforming to everyones ways and want to be different and get the zen then go for it.

I have a Creative Zen Vision: M, tis snazzy and sexy, unlike the iPod Video with its boring round circle. Blerrr.
