Smoking at school

They set rules which aren't followed at my school. The heads of year even go up to people and they're like ALRITE SMOKEY U SMELL OF SMOKE O WELL LOL LETS ALL LAUGH

I got to a pretty strict school, The other week my friend got an internal exclusion for swearing at a teacher?

Ive never smoked but there is loads of people in my school that smoke some of them have got caught smoking and they get excluded but that is it sometimes i see people bunk lessons just to smoke because they didn't have a break.. but everyone gets that in school.. but no one does anything about it.

k, first things first. I hate smoking never tried, never will.

Right, theres a bunch of people at my school who go in the courner of the field every lunch and start smoking. The teachers all know cause they walk up to them and then they see 20+ people scattering everywhere from one place. A number of teachers while walking up to them passing me have said 'you watch they will all move when they see me'

Surley this can be a reason to expell them if not suspend them for a week or two? But they dont do anything so they just carry on smoking. It annoys me. Any views on this? Comment.

There ain't a thing teachers can do to stop a pupil from smoking, atleast not within legality. Secondly, i think we all, or most of us know that every school, or 8 out of 10 secondary schools (im assuming this is one) have smokers areas and it is well known, im sure the teachers done it at some point too actually, some of them. I don't think it will change, atleast not any time soon.

If you chose not to smoke, good for you! But i don't think you should be getting worried or concerned about other smokers. lmao.

I remember in my school we all went "around the back" to smoke.
It's hardly terrorist activity or anything, unless their using hard drugs or something like that, i see no problem in having a cig, as it is their choice.

I don't think being under age will ever stop them (if any of them are)

We don't have that kind of behaviour. Our school is abit goody goody, however you can easily tell when the teachers have been smoking.

If they do, I think the older graders should be allowed to.

I think even suspension is pathetic.

I think detention for the underage smokers, at the worst. Suspension is just.. well, a load of crap really. It won't stop them from smoking, well, atleast not anyone i know.
