    I think its perfectly fair.

Habbo used to tell habbo's that they should report everything that happens suspicious to be a good habbo citizen, now, Becs did the FOMO campaign and all kids who report suspicious activities are "Attention seeking" and are afraid of being banned.

This lack of moderation clearly shows Habbo is becoming an unsafe place, and I felt that it most deffinately deserved mentioning, especially as the article was about Habbo.

As I understand it, users aren't going to be punished for reporting anything that is justified. Habbo obviously would rather know if somethings happening. If a user is reporting something that is inappropriate or unjustified then all they'll get is a message back reminding them to use the CFH responsibly or to use the ignore button in similar circumstances. Of course, they don't want floods of CFH's from one user about one instance, and they don't want users to purposely go around reporting things. Which, I think is fair.

If users are afraid of calling for help then it's not entirely Habbos fault because they've never said not to all they have done is lay down the line and say when and when not to call for help, and when and when not to use the ignore button. I think that's reasonable considering these functions are put in place to help us out and to help them out.

I think people have simply misunderstood the 'FOMO' campaign, or misinterpretated what the message was. I feel the unerlying message was to think before calling for help - could the issue be solved by ignoring the person? Or, does it need the attention of a Moderating staff?

If someone was stalking you and you pressed the ignore button, they wont be able to harrase you or do anything. You wont meet up with them in real life and it will be fine. Just about every thing someone can do to hurt you on habbo can be fixed with ignoring them. If the pedo was ignored and didnt meet up with the people then it wouldnt have happened. What is habbo going to do? Say dont follow those people around?

I totally agree, I think the FOMO campaign was a waste of time, I think they should've just written an article reminding people of the ignore button.

Well, I'm pretty sure the Pick Up button means, if you click it, you're on the case, and another moderator knows not to get involved. Like picking up the call.
Pick Up & Go, I think thats like, go to the room, as well as pick the call up.

I thought the pick up call was more to do with Furniture really.. Nevermind. I was reading the book again last night and it said that they "have to lock the doors when a student conference is outside" or "whoever cant see over the desk, doesnt get in". Seems a bit harsh on midgets i guess, but to the point. Its a bit critical calling the members of Habbo hotel who practically pay their wages stalkers..

Pickup = Assigns that specific issue to that Moderator or Habbo X

Pickup and Go = Assigns that specific issue to that MOD or X and sends them to the room the user is in

Pickup and Reply = Assigns that specific issue to that MOD or X and sends the user an alert or answer they enter.

Upgrade = When X's recieve call for helps, if a call for help is an Emergency, they press this button to send it to the Moderators.

Woohoo, thats x!!:HappyGirl:!!x saved.. now Mr Pedo is having no luck with x!!:HappyGirl:!!x, Mr Pedo goes and meets !!LittleBilly!! who doesn't use the Ignore tool however could have been saved if x!!:HappyGirl:!!x reported it or a Moderator took action instead of replying to every C4H "Please use the ignore tool".

Habbo since day one have always said to ensure that if anything unconfortable happens on the Hotel it must be reported straight away in order to be a good and safe Habbo Citizen. They even did events on this basis too such as the Hobba Premiership a while back. Since Hobba's have gone, and X's have come.. the safety and overall Habbo product had started to go down hill.

    Quoting Bec's FOMO campaign:

    http://www.habbohotel.co.uk/communit...rticle015.html
    When to Use IGNORE
Any time a Habbo's chat is annoying, upsetting, or offensive. Even if they break the Habbo Way, you should use IGNORE.
They say how their moderators will deal with situations themselfs without reports, so with thousands of rooms, 20 odd public rooms, and one MOD on duty they will see everything going on? It clearly shows to use the Ignore button on all occasions and to not Call For Help. If I was a 14 year old kid, I bought loads of furni with my pocket money, I sent a call for help saying Mr so and so is saying racist remarks to me and see clearly in the cal for help "You may be banned if the call is not an emergency", and either way all they get is a reply saying use the Ignore tool. That leaves Mr Offensive racist guy to go harras some other poor 14 year old who shouldn't have been able to see the horrible things he said as the Moderators should have taken action.

All I see is Habbo have reduced the number of online MOD's so that Call For Help numbers are dropped, therefore showing the Safety on Habbo is lacking most deffinately. If that was the message, as you said, they should have made it alot more clearer and not threaten bans in the Emergency Call For Help area.

About 2 weeks ago, I was in a room and 2 users were swearing harrasing me etc etc, I reported it as the remarks they were saying were racist, homophobic, slanderous.. literally everything you can think of. I got a message back saying "Use the ignore tool" I was very annoyed however followed the instructions of the moderator and ignored them.. however, they didn't stop and then encouraged other members in the room to hear their points of views and pass on their messages, saying all this un true rubbish about me. I therefore went to another room, and surprise surprise they had followed me. I sent another call for help, and another reply "Use the ignore tool". After my 10th call for help saying how pathetic this is and how I can't believe I am going to have to use the Helptool to get this users removed, an hour later they did actually ban the user.

Do you think this is good?

Rumours going round say, yes he has, as most rich people do anyway - habbo should fix this -

nice screenies to whoever posted them and lots of comments ;O!

just-one, I totally agree on your last comment, habbo are useless in the sdaferyt department, theyt just say use the ignore button. they don;t know you use it, but then they go harrass another person, nd they report them and they just get told the same thing. Habbo eventually banthem, bevcause if they are only having one moderaor on at a time, 100 odd calls everyone 10 mins or whatever, but habbo should really get more MOD's online. Somone of the time, they get undercover moderators in! These mods will see the bad language ( if any ) and then have tyo loads there HS account and ban them? by that time, they could of gone and said something else to another person. COME ON HABBO, GET YOUR BRAINS IN GEAR!!!!
