I know im attracted to men, and i will choose men over women any day, but when i see a buff (sorry slang) - good looking- girl walk buy it doesnt stop me from checking her out. i never feel anything sexual towards women, just men.

anyway there is this simple test you can do to find out if you are or not, i saw it in a newspaper a cpl of years ago.

place your hands flat on a table, if your 2nd and 4th fingers are the same lengh you are str8, and if they are different you are gay. it worked for me and everyone else i told it to. what do you think?

also if this was proven would it prove you are born gay?

Thats probably the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. What do your fingers have to do with being gay? Its like saying if you have hitchhiker's thumb, youve seen a shooting star. It doesnt ad up.

And arent your 2nd and 4th fingers your middle finger and pinky? If so, I have never seen anyone, gay or straight have a middle finger and pinky the same size.

saying put your thumb and finger next to your thump in an 'L' shape and thats the size of your peenis.
Its just a theory and hasnt been scientificly proved.
which i hight doubt it ever will be.
Theres more truth in the myth that sticking your finger up your bum will stop hickups than the finger one for being straight or gay.

I personally think it's because of the environment and your surroundings. I think that if you live with your mum and a few sisters you're more likely to become gay/bi because of the amount of females around you and therefore getting more female stuff e.g them saying a guy on tv is fit and stuff like that. However I'm not saying this is relevant to all people who live with their mums/sisters. Also if you are around a homophobic dad you may become gay but be reluctant to admit it and try and make yourself straight - impossible?

No matter what people say it has nothing to do with social facors or things which happen in your life. If your parents got divorced it would have nothing to do with it, if you had an older sister it would have nothing to with it etc..

It's determined before you were born, simple as. And from when you are born it has every influence on your life, even when you were young and you did not even realise. For instance, if you got on really well with girls and many other things. About the post above, living with lots of girls does not make a difference. For example, i know a boy with 5 sisters and his dad is away from home a lot but hes not gay, and hes hardly feminate. Maybe if you do live with lots of affluential female characters you adopt some of their ways, but it cannot affetc you psycologically [sp?], for someone to be turned gay they'd have to be pretty darned messed up for someone to shape their sexuality.

In a way is preffrence, but its a decided prefrence. I can say, i like cheese but i'm deciding not to eat it. But i can't say, i am gay but because society doesn't agree with it i'm going to turn straight, i'd still have urges, unlike i would with giivng up a material object. Do you get my point?
