You guys may find this humerous.

I'm rather intrigued by this application. Why? Because from reading your postings on forums, it's very easy to gain the impression that you believe the X program is a waste of time and that Moods and most staff are useless. One wonders why you'd want to be part of such a pointless team and in regular communication with such incompetent people.
    Care to explain?

    Sure I'll explain,

I am not one who believes the Habbo X's are a bad team, nor one who sees it as a completely pointless team. You must read allot of my posts on HabboxForum to come to that conclusion, but not all of them. It's the Safety X's I am always posting about!

I do not agree with the Safety X team and some of the staff inside it (such as a number of Safety X's who have posted publicly they have been hacked/scammed on forums in the past)! However I have never complained about the normal X team. At most, the only comment I say about them is them saying they are hard done by having room over-ride into competitions which is kinda irritating as we all know they love it. I love helping kids and being entertaining, that's why I am loved and seen as an icon on the forums, and the same reason why I applied for this, and as I said in that application.. "I am very open minded which might not help me, however its probably the best characteristic I have." which is what allot of people love about me, obviously not some the Safety X's though haha.

I bet you didn't know the Safety X's contact me on AIM, MSN and PM asking me to shush on the forums.. quoting one. "The post that you made is true but im just not going to post that i agree incase X team grass lol." regarding one of my posts. Anyway, they have all asked me to chill and that I've put my point across, and I have done and haven't ranted for quite a while you may or may not have noticed, and for me that's a challenge! ;P

I think having someone like myself may help encourage the many users who are against the team, actually start to believe in it with my idea's which I can bring to the X Team to turn its reputation. Anyways, I am sure your not looking for an X who is not negative towards any part of Habbo, but hey! We're all entitled to opinions on forums surely? It shouldn't effect whether we'd be good with introducing new habbo's to the site or not, surely? ;D

I loved the email though either way! Have fun and thanks for the reply, I won't be expecting that acceptance email anytime soon, Haha!

P.S. http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost....93&postcount=1 was what I posted almost 2 weeks ago regarding me chilling.
    Hi there

Interesting email. I'm afraid that phrases such as 'I am loved and seen as an icon on the forums' are a tad too megalomanic in tone for me to take seriously and I can't honestly believe that you're serious about them either.

I wouldn't have you on an X Team, no. NOT because some of your opinions are anti-Habbo (criticism can be constructive and aid positive change), but more because I would never willingly create a Lord of the Flies scenario in any team and my hunch is that this is exactly what would happen with you on it.

    Take care now.

Regarding your comment about a Lords of the Flies scenario. I have my opinions against the Safety X group indeed, but most guys in the team are my friends and I have never gone to extremes in voicing my opinion, allot of X's already have the opinion too.

So why did they bother applying to be a Safety X if they think Safety Xs are a waste of time? Seems rather odd to me.

I'm sorry to hear that your hunch is that I would do something very immature like that, despite being reputable on Habbox Forums and running a large fansite with 10,000 users, but at the end of the day I am only trying to help and if you don't believe I would benefit the X team that is your decision.

To be honest, I'm not one who looks at facts like running sites with 10,000 users and necessarily thinks it equates to that person being 100% trustworthy and low risk. Although many Habbos think staff are clueless, we're actually not. I've been running online communities since 1992 and when I did community stuff for 'kicks' and not for money, I was a server admin and on the 'management board' of one of the oldest and largest IRC networks, with some 140,000 simultaneous users at peak times and 600,000 registered accounts. There'd usually be 30,000 simultaneous users on the server I ran alone. Why do I say this? Because I've first hand experience of guys in charge of A LOT of user data - guys who've headed up IT departments for major companies - going very, VERY astray. I've seen guys (and it is, almost always, guys - young ones at that) endanger or lose wonderful jobs because they've not got rid of the teenage anarchist streak they have and in bored moments have turned their talents towards doing some really stupid things like cracking NASA servers (and, yes, I've seen that happen), coding new trojans or getting into bot-herding and DDoSing the hell out of hapless sites.

I've no doubt you run those sites well, but I also have a niggly feeling when reading your output on boards that you're also someone who could go astray if you begin to feel bored/hard done by/irritated. Long years in community has taught me to minimise risk and I'm afraid my experience is giving me a hunch that you're a risk.
    Hey,

'So why did they bother applying to be a Safety X if they think Safety Xs are a waste of time? Seems rather odd to me.'

In the first comment I said the X's, not the Safety X's. :-P The X's have commented to me saying the Safety X's jobs are very easy and that they (The X's) even deal with Safety X's jobs when they are not available due to the fact that they used to be there to help with safety for new habbo's.

By mentioning I run a site with 10,000 users was not trying to say that I am the most trustworthy person in the world, I was trying to show you my current responsibilities and having run this site for over a year, I was hoping it would demonstrate my dedication towards voluntary non-profit sites and jobs I take part in. You should understand, having worked in communities aswell, that helping and being involved is a great feeling, with or without the money. I am also sure while in those communities you've been against certain things aswell, and may have voiced your opinions to friends or possibly even on public forums where people debate things or issues regarding the community (whether it be new rules or regulations, or anything else). This is the position I am in. While I love the community at Habbo, I do speak my mind. I've been irritated a number of times by Sulake (Being removed off official lists for no reason the past year etc) however at no point have I let on to my own users my annoyance or done anything to put Sulake at risk or my sites reputation. I deal with it and move on. The best way I deal with these sort of things is expressing my opinions and views on discussion boards (HabboxForum). I feel this is probably the best way to deal with situations that irritate me than protesting on Habbo, spamming staff with my issues, calling all the offices going crazy, etc etc.

Alot of current X's already have a negative attitude towards the Safety X team behind closed doors, I've said what I have thought and alot of other X's I am in regular contact. Perhaps you should ask for the X's honest opinions on the Safety X's to find out if that point is true. Whilst I understand you would not want to put the X team or anything you run at risk, I can assure you I am not someone who would become "bored/hard done by/irritated" to abuse a position gratefully offered to me. I've been involved with many communities in the past (The phpBB community, Neopets, etc etc) however I am stuck with the wonderful world of Habbo. I've been on Habbo for a number of years, and from your past experience you may have noticed many people who have been in the same position as me then lead on to go astray, however not everyone does this. Sometimes you do have to take a tiny risk to gain a huge benefit.

Having said all this, I appreciate that you may find the posts I make on HabboxForum may lead me to feel that way, however I can assure you this is not the case with myself. I do understand the safety and reputation of the X scheme is your priority, however anyone you hire can be seen as a risk, you can not determine if any user will become "bored/hard done by/irritated", especially when dealing with kids. If this decision is final and that you feel I would be more a liability than a benefit, then I wish you goodluck with the X teams and can only say that it is a shame you have worked with people who have done that in the past to taint peoples like myself.

Thanks again and have fun, :-)

I never recieved a reply to that. How funny though!

I applied mainly for kicks to see the reaction I'd get and within a day or so I got a reply off Emma about her shock for me applying. Haha, shows what I say on here seriously does get attention of Sulake eh?

Obviously, I recieved a declined email.. however I was already told about it 2 months ago anyway!

    Hi there

Many thanks for your Habbo X application.

The response was fantastic with approximately 2,000 applications for
very limited spaces and tough decisions had to be made. Unfortunately
your application was not successful this time around, however do not
despair because there will be opportunities to apply again during future
recruitment drives for both the Habbo X and Safety X Teams.

    Many thanks and happy Habboing!
