    LOL I WAS THERE!

Lol it was really scary lol - felt really sorry for them.

It took one hour for them to get sitting up again and then another hour to get them all off!

I was actually in line for the next like round of that ride and would've been on it if I was 5 minutes earlier haha.

It was in Strathclyde park - which is where M&D's is (if that helps). Lol - it's the biggest themepark in Scotland.

It was minging though, cause people were being sick and stuff and it was like flying everywhere :|

    ROFL! - Yeah..

Luckily nobody died, because being suspended upside down for more than 3 minutes increases your chance of dieing by 50 times, FACT.. My science teacher told me (H)

I had a weird feeling someone would of been there

All I can say is that your verry lucky you weren't on it ^_^
I'm surprised no one died/was critically injured either..
If I sit upside down (Yes I do it often on my bed:rolleyes for just a minute or two I feel horrible.

I can't see why it took so long to get them down, Surely the response could of been better?

The way it was really did look difficult. I was really curious to how they would get them down cause it did look really, really tricky. All the other rides and that got closed down cause of it n loads of people had to go home early, lol.

Well one person ended up getting hypithermia but that was the worst, luckily.

How did they get it down in the end?
Did they get the people off it in that position (Can't really see how they'd do that..:s) or swing the ride back around somehow?

I would say that they would brake the lift mechagnism (sp) and use the auto-balancer to bring the ride back to the ground and level.

Think on the lines of slammer at thorpe park, and your on the right track.
