No, don't carry a weapon in means of self defence, it will get you into alot of unnecessary problems.

Just make sure you're always with friends and not on your own when walking to/from school.

A penknife could save someone from a Stalker.

I wouldn't suggest anything like a penknife but why not get something along the lines of pepperspray? And ask for a lift or walk close to a group of people, And I would also suggest you try going different ways home if possible otherwise he might find out your route home and that :s

Dont the Police use CS Spray?? Or summit? Try get something which can harm his eyes. Dont go the way you usually ago, cos he could find out where you live, try different routes. Just ignore him and be confident, walk home with mates or near people, or get a lift or stay in school! Im sure if you nag your teachers about this stalking you may be able to get a lift with the teachers - Probably embarassing but better to be safe than sorry.
If you ever get scared and think something bads really gonna happen, just walk up to a house and knock, explain whats happening and act like you know them and ask if you can come in, I know it's a risk, but you dont know. Also, you could go into a shop and explain it like the same with the home thing and just ask for help! Just make sure people are aware of the situation.
    Best of Luck :]

We had this problem when I was in school, but luckily the girls I hung round with I walked home with them in a big group. So we were virtually safe. But one girl was found to be talking to a guy that matched his description.

I suggest you walk home with a group of people that live near you and don't walk down alleyways, walk down fairly big roads.

CS Spray/Pepper spray is classed as a fire arm..

So if I was you, I wouldn't use it.. Unless of course you want to be surrounded by armed police and charged with position of a fire arm?

The guy who made the comment about the police taking 10 minutes - well sorry mate but their not blimming magical and can just appear out of thin air you know. They need to make sure they know it's definetley an emmergency and actually locate where their going - it's not just a case of you dial the numbers and they turn up 10 seconds later.

It is a bit of a tricky one. However, if your feeling a bit unsafe by this I think you should definetley discuss this with your parents. They may not be bothered at the moment, but tell them your not happy with it and refuse to go and walk home from school anymore for your own safety. Tell them you want some sort of transport arranged - perhaps a relative could pick you up, or tell them your not walking on your on. Maybe one of your parents or a relative or close family friend could come and meet you at the school to walk home with you, and if all of this is impossible - then why not just ask someone from school to walk with you? I'm sure there will be other people walking on their own feeling the same, so why not kill two birds with one stone and help each other...
