It's a mixture of letters and numbers - and all of those numbers certainly won't make up your Habbo ID (although some might?). Looks like a move to stop Habbo Imager "technology" from being stolen... maybe? :eusa_danc

Its not encoded. Johno said that it is just a "unique" Habbo Id and under no way was it encrypted

i thought they just redid the XML files that contain habbo looks, so that the way you can change your look will be editable via homepage? I dont think habbo's trying to stop fansites using the habbo imager.. who knows, official sites may be allowed to incorporate the new habbo look changer!
    Habbox is:
an unofficial fansite for a good reason.
unliked for a lot of good reasons.
popular for all the wrong reasons.
probably going to get more popular.
(not supposed to, but probably does) control the general rare values of habbo.
(not supposed to, but definately does) influence people in their decisions on habbo.

For those of us who would like an actual honest fansite practically controlling clubtropica, please do us a favour and stick to habbo. Otherwise, callie may eat you.

(After reading the 2 previous replies.)
I didn't necessarily say it's "stolen" - it's just more difficult to "customise" than it used to be, where you simply changed the Habbo name, and all the different variables were in the URL itself. It could be that the uber long URL has just been simplified to this, or exactly what Pitch said. +Rep to both of you, k. ove3:

I don't think the whole imager thing will be explained to fansites and allowed to be freely used... but I could be wrong. The imager technology is pretty darn cool, and it was probably one of the first steps on developing Habbo Home? ;o

    Yes it was.

The imager is nothing. The user's looks are stored in the database as a string. Like head = 21. The XML file shows the image for the head 21 + skin it pulls it all together using the GD librarys and shows it.

    Nothing hard tbh.

    Pretty cool.

I didn't say it was hard - I said it was cool. Whether it was easy or not, it doesn't matter - because other people can't pick and choose what they want from the database.

Still, pretty cool, but I've already given you rep today.
