Ok. I have a description of my local town I have written, and it includes in the town there is; what is next to, infront of, etc; opinions. I have been told to put verbs into the description?

So a verb is an action...

How do you put an action into a description?

Do you mean like:

My town is interesting, i got to town with my friends. etc.

Then its simply just how u say in english

Je ville en interresant, Je aller au ville avec mes copains

I'm just gonna put "I go to town" in french.
Using aller and all that crap.
