    Got it:
Reds striker Dirk Kuyt will join a host of celebrities at the city’s Christmas lights switch-on this Sunday.

The Dutchman will be there alongside Ricky Tomlinson, plus Eton Road and Ray Quinn from X-Factor.

Thousands of fans are expected outside St George's Hall from 5pm.

Ray Quinn will open proceedings with his version of Dean Martin's Ain't That a Kick in the Head, followed by Eton Road doing Abba.

Ricky Tomlinson will then take to the stage as Jim Royle to perform his festive single Christmas My A**e.

The event features trapeze artists as well as renditions of The Snowman and Winter Wonderland by pupils from Notre Dame Gospel Choir.

There'll also be guest appearances from Two of Us star Mark Moraghan and Everton forward Andy Johnson.

A spectacular fireworks display off Wellington Column will bring the evening to a climax at 5.45pm.

This year's Christmas lights are 25 per cent bigger than ever before, with Sir Thomas Street, Great Charlotte Street, Renshaw Street and Richmond Street included for the first time.
