Whenever a new skin comes out there is thread after thread after thread of "Lovin' the new skin!" and "What skin do you use?" etc.

---MAD--- is the one who sorts all of the skins out (along with the graphics staff obviously). He's the one that makes the forum look outstanding, not exactly the same and default as every other forum, so maybe you should take that into consideration.

Also, as said in one of the other replies, sucking up to 8f8 or sierk will get you nowhere, if anything, it will put them off you, because they are probably seriously sick of suck ups trying to get there foot in the door with the top dogs of the forum.

Also, I think that Mad's posts in the Welcome Forum are just what is needed, to link new members to rules and things if they have not already read them. This encourages them to read the rules, therefore knowing what they should and should not do, and the consequences if the rules are breaking, encouraging them to obey the rules, thus creating a healthier atmosphere on the forum.

With regards to the Moderating/Super Moderating aspect of your 'rant', I have to say I completely agree with you there. I know that now I have said this, Micky and several other people are going to hold a grudge against me, but what you said in your paragraph was true, I honestly do believe that Nixt, Foxmoth or :Jamie should've recieved the job, although it is not really my place to argue with decisions made in an area which I am not involved in, so I will close on that point.

that is hardly a rant, if you've actually read the thread (which you CLEARLY havn't, you'd be a little more informed of what's going on now.

I know for a fact that MAD is a very brilliant admin and does alot of the technical work. he deserved admin > and now forum manager. Hes a very-active person. he doesn't live in the UK and when most of the people commenting now thinks "he doesn't do anything" - its because you are in school. hes ofton online from 9 i the morning till lunch if not later. Therefore thats why you proberlly don't think he is active.



Gary, was staff here ages ago, he was a news reporter. he had previous knowledge of the forum and its rules, he was in the News team with Coolmandan6 - who was his partner with wonderworld theme park.

I believe he did know all the ins and outs, however since he resigned as news reporter alot of members joined, sometimes being rebelious so and so's and then sometimes not. He has had Management experiance, and Admin experiance as he had a vBulletin forum for WWTP.




Needless to say - Dan (Legoman) had been a moderator for the longest - i think he desserved the s-mod job.

Again, Dan lives in the UK but he is mostly on in the mornings as he works at a themepark where he lives in the afternoon ; he then has to come off most of the time because his brother (Joahh) wants to come on.




i believe, if i remember correctly - micky moderated the games catagory if not just the Runescape forum. i know you dislike that forum therefore i doubt you'd see his actions.

i didn't say dan didn't deserve the smod job, i never once mentioned him? :s and well i got told that gary hadn't a clue with the admin stuff, and this was by someone high up. they told me he didn't have the foggiest in what he was doing.

edit: thank you pixel, and now you can't see that pixel is just sticking up for his mates because i don't actually think he's like that. it does go to show how much other forum members know, and feel about who should get the promotions here.
