Do you think using double bass is cheating?

I don't, I think it's hard to play with double bass and it adds a really cool sound to songs. But some people think using two beaters is cheating, anyway what do you think?

Exactly, there are no rules with music. The only way you can cheat is if you lip sync all of your songs, in which case you arent cheating the music, youre echeating your fans.

Its like how people say power chords are cheap and takes no skill. So what? If you can make music that people like, no matter how you go about doing it and no matter how easy or hard it is, what does anything else matter?

I didn't mean it as actually cheating, but some people think you should only use one base pedal and leave it at that.
