Leona will be the first UK talent show winner who will last way longer than a year. Only other person I can think of who one a music talent show and is still famous is Will Young.

only god knows what your idea of singing is..leona did deserve to win. her voice has many ranges, and she could basically perform any song. she's way up there on vocal talent with mariah carey, christina aguilera, whitney houston (when her career wasn't jeopardized by drugs) and maybe aretha franklin.

Well said, we all know it's the truth but some of them just want the Elvis Stageshow look.. When you say Arethra Frankloin, I think they would actually be on level pegging.
