Technical managers are for glitches with the system that's already in place. If we have so many glitches already imagine how easy to exploit hacks would be :p They can't foresee every circumstance.

Also we'd get more visitors, then possibly get hacked. Also with an arcade, with the sheer amount of visitors it would lag the forum so much. All hacks are able to be exploited, atleast most are.

another question whilst we're not on the subject.

you don't install hacks because they're a security risk... so why have you got 2 technical managers who shoudl be able to deal with it.

it's getting to be boring now imo.

an arcade would bring the visitors up - the least you could do is try it and watch the hits rise, and rise and then decide on it.

the same with any other hacks.

if you can install a shoutcast hack then surely you can install any others - it's exactly the same only it will bring in more visitors because many of the people already on the forum want an arcade and shoutbox.

it will bring people from a non-habbo background and will be appealing to a wider variety of people so you can attract a bigger audience.

    phew.
It wouldn't be such a bad day if I wasn't sick

    thread and bread rhyme.

but, if you have such a great technical force that seem to do nothing - although most of it is backscene there's no real reason why you cannot install hacks.

i mean, one of the largest teen communities on the net [teenhelp.org] have an arcade installed - and the owners arn't that technical themselves.

really, you should really think about considering it.

I know I was thinking that :p However it was still irrelevant. Also our technical staff is there for glitches, and basically everything they do is behind the scenes. Its a security flaw, you could ask Just-One about the specifics on that. Also, TeenHelp may have larger servers and in terms of security maybe not as many erebels revolting against it :p

    kick those e-rebels' -bananabread-!

    hire a technical guy?

you know - there are lots and lots of potential for hxf, but you guys are just sceptical about what could happen.

if it happens, take it out and point proven.

but, really - fulfill the potential & live the dream.

what's the problem with getting a server upgrade?

you can get cheap servers all over now.

We have been hacked many times if you were here months back. We used to get hacked all the time. Then we stopped with the hacks and we didn't get hacked. At one point Habbox almost went down entirely and Just-One managed to fix it. Also we have a huge server, it costs a hundred plus pounds a month I do believe, and that's just for HabboxForum.

    £100 for a server?

    You're getting ripped in reality.

You could get a better server, better quality, better uptime for around £60 a month.

You take the forum too seriously in my opinion, look at ClubHabbo forum and ThinkHabboForum [heaven forbid] - they wouldn't spend £100 on a server, they probably spend a tenner a year or something.

I was here when it was getting hacked - that's probably due to leaked passwords in all honesty.
