if habbox dont install hacks then why is there one at the bottom of the forum? also do you still have the PM reader installed?

PM reader is uninstalled, but technically PMs can still be read through the MySQL database.

I don't know the answer about the hacks, but I'm guessing the code was looked at and classed safe. Also, generally, as long as there is no opportunity for user-input like text boxes or log-in forms, etc., many scripts are safe.

yes but on the shoutcast plugin you have to enter all the radio details into admincp, that includes the admin pass. don't you think that is abit dangerous? if habbox install a hack then they should install an arcade. that is safe.

Youd think that, but many are still open to sql injections, i got got threw the shop hack on my forum nearly, its incredibly how bad the securty on it is, they were takeing values direct from url and placeing em directy in to a mysql queary O.O, luckly its now all patched up with an intger check on inputs "/
So after that ive been pretty careful to check the securty of any well know addons before installtion "/ but still its only a little exstra work "/

As well as that, you have loads of members on here, so they'd all pile into it at once, so it probably would be slow. Whereas on the other forums, there are less members and less chance of that happening.
