It was because of Bec's Soapbox, people would have Cardboardbox, TalkBox, ThisBox, ThatBox, CrapBox, IMadeABoxBox. It was really annoying and for some reason they were really popular, yet no one did anything in them. It was like when Help Desks suddenely became popular at the begining of 2005 for no reason. I would imagine the equivalent now would be talkshows.
