Its a uk based forum where the majority of people are christian or Jewish. Its all a family holiday where atheists celbrate aswell making it a national event to most religions. Therefor it is appropiete to make a christmas theme.

Habbox forum is a UK fansite.
In the UK christmas is one of the major celibrated holidays, Not for just christands, but for EVERYONE, reguadless of religion. Its actualy been celibrated in the uk by other names for nearly 10 millenia.
Hence christmas as a universal english celibration gets a skin.
Diwali and most other religious festivals are not part of british tradition, hence do not get a skin, go to a fansite based in a conarty which does celibrate that as a national holiday, then you can see skins for what ever festival you like.

As you said, it's a British website with British managers, and staff and whatever I'm sure there's some ethic minorities. Therefore we're basically brits, we live in Britain and we celebrate British holidays, whether or not we're Christians, the Christian influence has given Britain the Christmas traditions and aethiests, agnostics or whatever celebrate Christmas for the excuse to have a winter holiday and give out presents.

Tbh, I am not any religion, I don't have a religion, but it is important you respect others' religions and you should make skins for Diwali ect. as I invited my friend onto HxF and she is hindu.

This forum is run by christian people (although I am not a christian). Habbo is also run by christian people and I believe they only celebrate the christian holidays etc as well .

Look im going to first suggest you look up the definition of respect, so you can avoide sounding stupid, when you misuse the word in future.
Secondly Christmas predates christiant by melienia. The celibration is part of British tradition. The forum is populated by british people primarly, hence the traditions followed are british ones.
There are plenty of forums, run by people of pretty much every contary you can imagaine, Those forums will then celibrate the celibrations traditional for those contarys.

The fact is that you wouldnt expect a jewish/muslium/hindu fansite to celebrate xmas. The whole idea of a religion is that you are religious because you believe it, so others thoughts and actions should not really bother you when it comes to your religion, as its right for you. Now correct me if im wrong here, but there are plenty of other ethnic minorities on this forum, and they are quite happy without skins for their festivals. I doubt very much people would be offended by the fact a site with around 500 active members doesnt have a skin for their religion. The simple fact is, its the internet. Other religions are respected, do you see anything on this forum that is derrogatory or hurtful towards other religions? No. If anyone is offended that a small primarily english and christian community is not providing an OPTIONAL skin to celebrate a festival, they really need to buy a small house and not leave it, as almost all of life will offend them. Also, anyone who says this reply is racism really needs get a dictionary, a brain, and perhaps an injection of common sense.
