Hahaha, I cant think of a band less emo than Radiohead. They're in a genre of their own.

But I agree with the Linkin Park thing, they definatly have an emo lining to them.

no-one can really give radiohead a genre apart from 'alternative'. they have so many different sounds. from rock to electronic, you never know what's gonna come next.

Here's a song by them. Dont mind the stupid video, the music video for it on youtube was very bad quality, this one is better.

But my favorite song by them doesnt have a video. Its called "It Was There That I Saw You", I would recomend that one. Very good listen.
I LOVE trail of dead! They're so awesome, I couldn't stop listening to their cd when I got my hands on it.

And I like both emo and screamo, I dunno if I favor one more than the other, but they're both solid.

    Early stuff (Pre-OKC) is britpop/alternative
Late stuff (Post-OKC) is 'WTH is this?!' That is, if 'WTH is this?!' is a genre. Great stuff though

I think they're emo, but PitchforkMedia doesnt think so. They gave them an extremely rare perfect 10.0 score (only 10 albums have ever recieved it upon initial release, and theyve reviews thousands of albums) for their album Source Tags And Codes.

I dont know. One side of me says emo, but another wants to trust those guys.

I don't really care what genre they fall under, I think they're amazing either way. I hope I can see them live sometime, I hear they put on one hell of a show.

Hm i read up to page 3 and got bored.
But it seems your saying if a band is on mtv or is successful then they can`t be emo =/
Your acting like a chav where they only listen to whats popular /in the charts you`ll only listen to whats unheard of / aloadacrap
    Whats the point of that.
